SneakerLove.net and the Instagram sub page @sneakerlovegallery was born out of admiration of girls today. How they are embracing their diversity and doing what they want on their social media channels.

Not caring about what shamers or society think of them this is True Female Empowerment!

SneakerLove is celebrating this fact and is bringing girls together from all over the world to embrace their bodies and showcase their Unique Personal Style.

SneakerLove advocates: Free Speech, Diversity and Body Celebration and is against Censorship of any part of the Female Body, Body Shaming and digitally Faking Bodies in order to live up to a fake social media beauty ideal, instead we embrace Non Altered Real Bodies and Pure Female Empowerment.

Wanna hear my voice, look at my feet!

How Sneakers became female’s number 1 fashion item:

‘Sneakers rose to significance during the explosive and expressive Hip-hop movement in New York City during the late 1970s. It was a movement that promoted creative self-expression and influenced everything in its way such as dancing, music, sport and even fashion. Within these predominantly male spaces, male performances and exhibitions of masculinity were fostered. Moreover, the sneaker emerged as an object with significant importance to the wearer. As well as enhancing movement and performance of the wearer, it was also used as a signifier for street style. Its rising popularity amongst African American and Latino American youth transformed its intended use, from an object primarily used for function, to one used solely for fashion.’ (excerpt from Lemara Lindsey Prince, ‘Wanna hear my voice, look at my feet!’ University of East Anglia 2013.)

In 2023 females have completely claimed Sneakers as part of their freedom of expression, they wear them with any outfit and any style, as we will hear many girls express correspondingly with the above: ‘they add some raw edge to my femininity’ and the choices in Sneakers are rarely random. They are part of a personal style choice connected to clothing and body jewellery such as piercings and tattoos. Today Girls have not only claimed Sneakers as their own, they have also claimed the right to their own bodies and set themselves free. In 2023 Girls do what they want.

At SneakerLove we advocate a sense of curiosity, creative freedom and integrity and it is completely up to the models how much skin they want to show and many females just like SneakerLove actively support the #freethenipple movement and all outfits always take a starting point in their own wardrobe and style and are therefore chosen together with the models.

All SneakerLove images only receive a basic retouch, everyone has a bad skin day, we do not alter anything which is permanent and if Girls have scars or natural bruises for example from skating, other sports, or accidents well then great. We do not fake female bodies – all bodies seen on SneakerLove are real. We encourage the display of real bodies.

SneakerLove.net supports all equality and equal rights efforts and movements such as # LGBTQIA+, #BLM as well as Digital Literacy and Digital Inclusion. We condemn racism, discrimination, inequality, oppression and sexual oppression. Everyone has the right to live, embrace and express their sexuality openly.
